Dave Chennisi

Dave Chennisi brings more than 30 years of experience in the health care insurance industry as a senior leader in Optum Advisory Services.
Dave and his teams are responsible for successful systems implementation and integration projects. These projects focus on a variety of areas, including:
- Core administrative claims adjudication
- Medical management
- Business intelligence/data warehouse
- Security
- EDI
- Testing
- Customer relationship management
Dave joined Optum in 2014. Prior to joining the company, he served as chief information officer at Texas Children’s Health Plan. He was part of senior management there for more than seven years.
He also served as vice president at First Consulting Group with responsibility for the Managed Care Systems Implementation Practice. Dave has also held various client delivery and practice leadership roles at Accenture.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Rice University. He earned a graduate certificate in health care management and public health from Rice University, Jesse. H. Jones Graduate School of Business.
